Reports: 22-year-old injured at the rally put on a ventilator

Based on the available information, the 22-year-old who was injured during the rally on Rustaveli Avenue has been put on a ventilator.

He is being cared for in Ingoroqva Clinic.­ The clinic says a comment on the condition of the injured person will be made at 14:30.

The information about the 22-year-old was spread on social media by journalist Nanuka Zhorzholiani.

As she writes, special forces allegedly hit the protester in the eye with a gas capsule.

“22-year-old A.T.  was transferred to the intensive care unit! He’s in a coma! Yesterday, the special forces hit him in the eye with a gas canister. They operated all night. Now the whole of Georgia should pray for his salvation! Now there is nothing more important than that!” Zhorzholiani wrote.
