Vegetation fire burning at Pinnacles National Park

A 16.8 acre fire is burning near the campground at Pinnacles National Park. There are 123 personal fighting the 50 % contained fire using 10 engines and four water tenders.

The cause of the ignition is under investigation.

The park will remain closed until 7:00 a.m. September 28.
