According to PG&E, 18 power outages occurred in the county Saturday, Dec. 14, affecting 4,448 customers. Businesses in several sections of Hollister were closed starting at 9:00am Saturday. The cause was due to rainy and windy weather conditions. Crews were out all day, repairing damaged equipment but PG&E could not give an estimated time for restoration of power.
The Weather Underground website said high winds were expected to subside by 6 p.m.
