BenitoLink hosted a General Election Forum at the Granada Theater in Hollister on Sept. 28. About 120 people were in attendance. Thanks to our sponsors, Golden Memorial, Ashiana Properties, Wright Brothers Industrial Supply, SBC Cosmetic Care, Pinnacle Organic Produce,  BenitoLink was able to record and edit the event on video and now offers short videos on each race.

The videos have been uploaded to the BenitoLink Video YouTube channel. Please click each race to view the video of your choice. *Please note, several attendees who originally accepted the invitation cancelled on the day of the event. Thank you to the candidates who took part in the event. Those in attendance were as follows:

BenitoLink Exit Survey

At our forum, BenitoLink asked attendees to fill out an anonymous survey. Guests dropped off these impromptu exit surveys at the end of the event. BenitoLink then tallied the results and shares them with the public. The surveys are informal and only take into account the candidates in attendance. This year a relatively small percentage responded to the survey—there were about 120 audience members and 27 surveys were collected—but we are sharing the numbers for your interest.

Tallies for candidates who attended the forum are below. Please note the numbers don’t consistently total 27 because some attendees did not vote in all categories. Additionally, some races had only one candidate in attendance, for example, State Senate and Hollister City Council District 4.
